Allen S. Komori has been a dedicated Financial Advisor since 2008, serving individuals, business owners, and families with personalized financial planning and wealth management strategies. Allen works directly with clients and their families to design and oversee customized financial plans, ensuring alignment with their goals and values. In addition to his role with clients, Allen actively collaborates with industry professionals, tracks regulatory developments, and leads his team in delivering a seamless client experience. He holds a comprehensive range of licenses, including Series 6, 7, 24, 63, 65 (all are held through LPL Financial), life and health insurance licenses, and the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designation. These credentials reflect his commitment to upholding the highest standards of fiduciary duty and professional excellence.

Over the years, Allen has also gained valuable experience as a real estate investor and business owner, which enhances his ability to provide comprehensive guidance to his clients.

Allen earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of La Verne in Southern California, where he also distinguished himself as a four-year letterman in baseball. His commitment to professional excellence is further demonstrated by his Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designation. This certification highlights his deep understanding of fiduciary principles, allowing him to deliver advice and strategies that meet the highest standards of ethics, responsibility, and client care.

Raised in a family-owned auto-body business, Allen learned early the value of hard work, integrity, and always "doing things the right way." Through his dedication to both his clients and community, Allen exemplifies what it means to lead with purpose, professionalism, and heart.

Allen is also deeply committed to giving back to his community, having served on multiple boards, including the Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce, The ARC in Hawaii, and the Hawaii Food and Wine Festival Epicurean Leaders Committee. He is a member of Hawaii Kai Church, where he actively volunteers.

In his free time, he enjoys traveling, surfing, golfing, and spending time with his wife Heather, their pets (dogs Olive and Brooks, and cat Remi), and their extended family.

Kellen Kaneshiro CPFA®

Financial Advisor

Kellen Kaneshiro is a seasoned financial advisor with a passion for helping individuals, families, and business owners design financial plans tailored to their unique goals and circumstances. With a career spanning nearly a decade in financial services and a diverse professional background, Kellen brings a practical, solution-oriented approach to his work.

Kellen's journey to financial advising began with roles in management and sales at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Uline, and Groupon, where he honed his skills in leadership, relationship-building, and problem-solving. Since transitioning to financial services in 2014, Kellen has dedicated his career to empowering clients with the knowledge and strategies they need to navigate life's financial complexities.

A graduate of Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon, Kellen earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with concentrations in Marketing and Accounting/Finance. He is also a proud three-year letterman on the university’s varsity basketball team. Kellen holds Series 6, 7, 63, and 65 licenses (all licenses are held through LPL Financial), as well as Life and Health insurance certifications and the Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA).

Beyond his professional responsibilities, Kellen is deeply rooted in his community. As the head varsity basketball coach at Hawaii Baptist Academy—his alma mater—he led his teams to ILH Division 2 Titles in 2022 and 2023 and was honored as Coach of the Year in both years.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, coaching, traveling, and golfing. Kellen lives in Hawaii with his wife, Dyan, their daughter, Carter, and their mini dachshund, Sophie.

Sean Smith brings 16 years of dedicated experience as a financial advisor to his role as the Owner of The Retirement Coach, LLC. Sean’s approach to financial advising reflects a deep commitment to providing clear, actionable guidance that prioritizes his clients' unique needs and goals.

Sean specializes in helping individuals navigate the complexities of retirement planning. He focuses on tax-efficient legacy planning by working with clients who have sufficient retirement savings, helping them create a plan that mitigate tax implications and supports the legacy they wish to leave for their beneficiaries. He also focuses on helping to create lifetime income for clients who are concerned about outliving their savings. Sean builds customized retirement income strategies that strive to provide financial confidence and stability throughout their lifetime.

Sean graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a bachelor’s degree and holds the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation, demonstrating advanced knowledge in wealth transfer, estate planning, and retirement strategies.

Sean launched The Retirement Coach, LLC, after years of honing his expertise in financial advising. As an independent advisor, Sean offers clients tailored solutions without the constraints of proprietary products, seeking unbiased and personalized financial strategies.

Sean lives in Hawaii with his wife, Lauren, and their two children, Hayley (9) and Tyler (6). Family life often revolves around sports, with Hayley active in soccer and softball and Tyler enjoying baseball and soccer. When time allows, Sean loves to play golf and unwind on the course.

Mabel Viernes

With nearly three decades of experience in the financial and insurance industry, Mabel Viernes brings deep experience and a warm, client-focused approach to her role as a Client Services Associate. Since beginning her career in 1995, she has been committed to providing a high level of support and service. Mabel holds a Life and Health Insurance License and is also a Notary Public.

At the heart of the client experience, Mabel oversees client relations, serving as the welcoming voice and face of the office. She ensures that every client interaction is met with genuine care and professionalism, whether greeting visitors, handling phone communications, or assisting with administrative needs. Her naturally kind and engaging personality makes every conversation a pleasant one.

Mabel has a long-standing professional relationship with her colleagues, having previously worked alongside Diane, Sean, Carolyn, Allen, and Kellen, and is excited to be reunited with them once again.

Born and raised in Honolulu, Mabel’s faith is central to her life. She is an active member of Word of Life Christian Center – Honolulu, where she leads a weekly Women’s Life Group. She has also been involved in various ministries, including Performing Arts, Costume, and Children’s Church, where she brings her passion and dedication to serving others.

Mabel and her husband, Alex, have been married since 1993 and share a wonderful life with their two sons, Micah and Isaiah, and their two beloved Bichons Frisés, Kinohi and Māhiehie. They are also proud “grandparents” to their two grand-doggers, Eevee and Abra.

In her free time, Mabel enjoys sewing, traveling, and spending quality time with her fur babies. Her joyful spirit, deep faith, and dedication to both her work and her community make her a valued and trusted presence in the office and beyond.

Carolyn Lilo

With over 20 years of experience in the financial industry, Carolyn Lilo has built a career dedicated to banking, life insurance, and financial planning services. Her experience in client servicing, administrative support, and project assistance makes her a vital part of the team, providing clients with a high level of service. Carolyn's commitment to clear communication and proactive assistance helps create a positive experience for client interactions.

As a Client Services Associate, Carolyn plays a key role in client relations, administrative support, and project coordination. She thrives in providing personalized attention to clients, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and care. Her ability to anticipate client needs and maintain strong relationships is a testament to her dedication to service.

Born and raised on Hawaii Island, Marisa Wong brings a thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to her role as Client Services Associate. With a strong background in administrative support and relationship management, she is dedicated to providing personalized attention and ensuring a seamless experience for those she works with. Known for her professionalism and genuine care, Marisa takes pride in building trust and fostering meaningful connections.
 
Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, crocheting, and spending time with her family. She and her husband Brenton have been married since 2002 and have two children, Karter and Korie, along with their two dogs, Tsuki and Yuki.
